FAQ
Are you taking clients during COVID19?
I am only taking one client a day to allow for proper disinfection after each session so it's ready for the next client on another day. I am fully vaccinated and during our session I will be masked. In addition all windows will be opened for proper ventilation, and a dual-air-intake HEPA filter will be running during our entire time together to filter and clean the air. If you have any symptoms such as fever, cough, runny nose, lost of smell, etc, I kindly ask you to reschedule our appointment until you feel better.
Will my images be posted on your site or used as marketing materials?
That's entirely up to you! You have the options on how you’d like your images to be handled and you can initial the different levels of privacy statements in the contract that suits your comfort level.
What should I consider for my boudoir session?
I offer various collections with different albums, prints, and digital files available for purchase after your session. Clients spend an average of $2,000 for my service and products so in addition that, you may also wish to hire a professional hair and make up artist, buy lingerie, shoes, grooming, or purchase additional prints and products. It’s important to plan early and budget for all these items.
Where should I do my boudoir photoshoot?
My boudoir studio in Burlingame dedicated for my clients to use at no additional cost. Due to COVID19, I can only take one appointment per day.
Traveling off-site for a photoshoot is possible as well but will have a $100 traveling fee.
How do I book a boudoir session with you?
You can contact me via my contact page on this site or email me info@boudoirbylily.com and I will send you my pricing details. When you’re ready to book with me, all I require is a signed contract and a $400 non-refundable deposit to show your commitment. This deposit will be applied towards your purchase. Please note that I only shoot with natural light which lends to my style of photography so my last appointment time will vary through out the year depending on the season. No evening shoots are available at the moment.
How soon should I schedule my boudoir shoot?
It really depends on the time of year and your flexibility in doing your shoot on a weekday versus a weekend. If you would like to give an album or print to your significant other for an anniversary or a wedding gift, I recommend doing your shoot 6 weeks before your special date. This will give me enough time to retouch all your images, meet for our ordering session, and and create your album. Ultimately, it really depends on the final product you wish to purchase. Digital files are available two weeks after your session.
Will you photoshop/touch-up my images?
Yes. I will retouch all your images prior to our ordering session together. Retouching includes skin correction such as tan lines, stretch marks , flyaways, and blemish removal.
There are certain parts of my body I am not comfortable with, so can you place less emphasis on areas I am concerned about?
Certainly. Beauty is in the eye of the beholder and there are certain parts of our bodies that we think are not flattering at all but others might not think the same. I encourage you to let me know which part(s) of your body you’re most proud of, and other part(s) that you may have concerns about. This way I can prepare poses that flatters your body type.
Do I need to bring my own outfits?
Due to COVID19 there will be no outfits available for sharing. However I have some accessories, and shoes available but sizes are limited so please bring your own outfits for your shoot.
When and how do I view my images?
Your beautiful photos will be ready 2-3 weeks after your shoot during our in person ordering session. From there you will select your favorites for your album. Final product delivery will take approximately 2-3 weeks depending on the product chosen.
When can I expect to receive my album?
Digital files are available immediately after our in person ordering session together. The album, matted prints, and canvas will take 3 weeks from your approval date.
